We have entered a new age where knowledge is doubling every seven years. It means we have to continually
keep up and learn. To earn more, requires learning more. It is time to become a realist. If you don’t
keep up, you will be left out. You have to become an information gathering person, to earn all you can.
Ask yourself: “Considering what you currently know today, can you earn more?”
To keep up, there is a price to pay; you have to dedicate time and energy to lifelong learning. It is
vital that you learn to grow, to take in new information continuously. All it takes is one new idea to
literally change the direction of your life.
Every action we take comes from what we know; what we know comes from learning; learning comes from
practice; practice comes from dedication; dedication comes from repetition; and repetition comes from
taking charge. Here are a number of ways that you can take charge and keep up.
-- Read and learn for one hour per day in your chosen field. By taking this step, in five years you will be
a leader in your chosen field, an international expert in seven years. When reading, take careful notes
for future references and review. In a society where less that 15% of the population reads les than one
book per year, by taking one hour a day you will read one book per week, 50 books per year, 250 books in
