Anything that a business may rent or lease. (i.e. building, furniture, vehicle, or equipment.)
- Length of contract. Is it 2 years, 3 years, 5 years?
- What are the conditions of the contract?
- Are there escape clauses? could they work to the company's detriment?
- What warranties are in effect? Do they promise replacement or repairs?
- What are my duties and responsibilities and those of the company concerning the renting/leasing? Can I live with this division of responsibilities?
- Is it a lease-to-own or simply a lease?
- Do I have policies and procedures in place that will work for me?
