- Is the subcontractor covered by Workers' Compensation or must the business cover this expense?
- Is the contractual agreement fair and clearly explained?
- Does the subcontractor want to deal under the table or can I trust him to deal fairly with the company because he deals fairly with the government and other people?
- Does my agreement conform to these rules and regulations?
- Are we negotiating contracts within the spirit of win-win?
- Are the duties and responsibilities in this area clearly defined and assigned?
- Do I have policies and procedures in place that will work for me?
